Best Weekend Ever!

The best part about three day weekends to me is spending time with my girlfriend. This Labor Day weekend was about the best one of the school year to date. Driving in a dust storm was really not that great but some things cannot be helped. My sister and I left right after marching band and never did look back. We managed to make it home and I helped unload the truck. I pretty much tried to clean up my room and unload everything that I could. The next day started off great with me and Wyatt heading to Gamestop to trade in my old system. I only got about $100 out of the deal but that is better than nothing. Now I have a decent system that will last me some time. Unfortunately I doubt I will have time to watch or play video games thanks to my busy schedule =P
After that we made it back to my place to have a Gundam marathon. At the same time my girlfriend came up and we all enjoyed a nice lunch of roast beef, potatoes, carrots and corn all thanks to my mother =) We started watching the shows and my girlfriend kind of fell asleep on my but it was all good till someone called and I had to answe the phone. She got a little disappointed because she was all nice and comfortable. Wyatt and I managed to make it halfway through the episodes before we called it quits.
After that we hooked up the new xbox and checked it all out. Overall we were impressed by the design and what they put into it. We then hooked his xbox up and played Lost Plant 2. It was a blast just having fun and enjoying the time we usually have to play games. We then had left overs for dinner. My other friend Jeremy called saying he wanted to play airsoft but neither Wyatt nor I had our batteries charged so we said Sunday night we would.
My girlfriend left after Wyatt did which was about midnight. She was going to spend the night with the grandparents but she got locked out and had to stay in the dorms. I felt really bad for her and tried to comfort her as much as I could. We had to change some of the plans for Sunday but over all it was good.
Sunday I went to church with her and her grandparents. We then ate out for lunch at Braums and had a good time just hanging out at her grandparents. She did get upset though near the end because of what was happening in our relationship like distance and boundaries. We decided to talk about it that day before I left to play airsoft with Wyatt and the gang. We finally figured out what to do and we left without making snicker doodles.
I arrived about five minutes after Wyatt did and started charging the batteries. Jeremy had the idea of always showing up late and that is what happened. We started with hunt Jeremy since that is what we always do. The game took about 45 minutes then people had to leave. Wyatt and I decided to have a 2v2 game with Jeremy and his girlfriend. It was about the longest game ever. We decided to call it quits and call it a night. I talked to my girlfriend later and she decided what we were going to do on Monday which I was really surprised about.
Monday came and we went to Wichita with my mom to look for some dress shirts and shoes. I was surprised to find what I was looking for and more surprised that my mom bought them all. She is about the best mother anyone could ever ask for =D To top it off we also went to some jewelry stores to look at engagement rings. We looked at Helzberg Diamonds, Kay Jewelers and Fred Meyer Jewelers as well. We really liked Fred Meyers because they had a set that included the engagement ring, the brides band and the grooms band all in a matching set. She also did like a ring she found at Helzbery Diamonds as well. They took our measurements there and it turns out she is a seven and I am a 9 3/4. In all I like Fred Meyers the best.
(this is the one we looked at =)
We then made it back home and watched Wall-E since we started it a number of times but never finished it. She then fell asleep again but she is really at peace when she does. We then decided to talk about kissing for over an hour because it was something that was really bothering both us. We decided to talk to her dad and also pray about it. We decided that kissing is good but within boundaries. We had our first kiss in my room and it was amazing to say the least. I believe we made the right decision and if we stay within the boundaries everything will be all right.
Driving back home to college through a bug storm was worth the effort thanks to my family, friends and of course my girlfriend.
Now to take on the next few weeks before I see her again =D
